Since Izzy was six years old, she has always asked for gifts of food instead of “kid gifts” for her birthday parties! Izzy would then donate the food “presents” to the Williamston Food Bank. She is now 17 and in her junior year at Williamston High School. A rough estimate, Izzy has likely donated more than 2,500 items to the food bank. Her dedication continues as she has volunteered on many occasions to load food into clients’ vehicles, deliver food to our seniors and shut-ins, and helped process large amounts of food donated through food drives held in our community. Her giving is not limited to what she alone does for the food bank, as she always brings friends along and has encouraged them to continue volunteering to assist us each month during food distribution.

Isabel will donate her Y-PIF proceeds to the Williamston Food Bank.
